Why is the AquaLyse® laminar flow design important?
With older types of copper silver ionisation systems, incoming water collides with the exposed ends of the internal sacrificial metallic anodes. This water impact causes unwanted turbulence also know as "water eddies". The water eddies provokes accelerated sedimentation that obstructs water flow and causes a drop of water pressure. These obstructions also forces the end user to perform time consuming and costly ionisation chamber cell cleaning maintenance to keep the copper-silver ion generator in proper working order.
